Assalamualaikum...
Hmm, it seems there's no other topic to say here, except about the newborn baby boy of my brother and his wife.
Well, i don't know about the others, but for me personally, there's nothing more interesting and exciting than thinking about the new life inside the fragile and small body of the baby.
Especially when you get to hold him in your arms...!
Yup, especially that!
When i went to visit him yesterday...
Looking at his peaceful and sleepy face just inches from mine, almost brought tears to my eyes.
And when he wrinkled his forehead and mumbling in his sleep unconsciously, almost burst me into laugh and tears at the same time.
The tight knot inside my chest and stomach while holding and watching him closely just reaffirm me of the growing love i felt for him the minute i laid my eyes on him.
Strange, isn't it?
The effect of one small and helpless baby onto the adults around him just unbelievably huge!
The smallness, the softness and the cuteness of every thing about them, can melt the hardest of heart and can bring joy from the deepest sorrow of feelings.
Allah the Almighy knows perfectly well on how humans heart work and He is the One who puts the love and the feeling to protect the fragile baby inside our heart.
Subhanallah...
The fitrah He put into ourselves out of His love to us, meant no other than to bring harmony and happiness to our lives, but so few of us cared to follow the fitrah and fewer more to be thankful and syukur to Him...!
So many lessons come with a birth of a baby, only for those who want to take some time, to study... and to think about it!
Let us take a little of our 'precious' time and the so called 'busy' life in this world, to ponder about this and to think back about every ni'mat from Allah The Greatest.
And let the wonder and the purity of this newborn baby become the trigger to led us closer to Allah...!
